YIANNIS KOUROS (GR) – Running God
He is/was the owner of many world records, from 100-1000 miles, 12-hour to 6-day races.
In 1984 he won the Spartathlon, with a record time, in 1985 he won Sydney-Melbourne Ultramarathon (5 days, 5 hours in 7 minutes).

Polish Patrycja Bereznowska is one of the biggest names in the women’s ultramarathon of all time. She has “countless” top places from the most important competitions in the world.
With a time of 24 hours and 48 minutes, Bereznowska holds the women’s record at the famous Spartathlon.

In 2022 she became European champion in 24h run, which was held in Verona, in September and won SLO12RUN 2022 (5.6.2022, Kranj).

-BADWATER, Death Valley: she finished in 2019 as the 1st woman and in 2nd place overall.

Marco is a winner of many ultramarathons. He was second at Badwater Ultramarathon (the world’s toughest foot race). He set national italian state record in 12h, this was in 2015 at Slovenian 12 hour run in Trboje (Slovenia). He participated many times at Spartathlon and he is a winner of many important ultra-distance races.

Ivan won Spartathlon three times. His personal best at Spartathlon was in 2014 (22:29h). He is one of the best ultrarunners. He attended the Slovenian 12 Hour Run in 2015 where he came at the second place.

Brenda is one of the best ultrarunners. She finished successfully many Spartathlons. Brenda also attended Badwater Ultramarathons (the world’s toughest foot race), where she got second place. In 2015 she participated at the Slovenian 12 Hour Run, she finished third place in this race.

Timo, a friend from Finland, attended SLO12RUN several times. He has run over 500 marathons worldwide.

Jacek Bedkowski was part of Polish National Team from 2013 till 2019 for 100km. He participated in IAU World and European Championships in those years. He completed 32 ultra with PB on 100km 7.22h and 18 marathons with PB 2.41h. In 2019 he was second in 6h race in Kranj, Slovenia, at the Slovenian 12 Hour Run. He said, “I had a chance to run many events around the world and my first visit in Slovenia was to run Slovenian 12 Hour Run. It was fantastic experience so if you have a chance to take part of it do it. You will be nicely surprised with the event, organisation, atmosphere and food.”

Mirko attended at all editions of Slovenian 12 Hour Run. He is the second best Slovenian at the Spartathlon, just after the best Slovenian ultrarunner Dušan Mravlje. He has participated several times at the European and World Championships in ultramarathon for Slovenia. He is one of the founder of the Athletic Club Ultramarathon Slovenia in year 2020 and became the president of the club.

Neža is a winner of the race Slovenian 12 Hour Run in 2015 (Trboje, Slovenia) – 128,950 km. She participated several times at the ultramarathon World Championships. In 2014 she took a third place at the race in 100 km Del Passatore (2014, Firence, Italia) and she won twice at the race 50 km in Italy, Pistoia-Abetone Ultramarathon.

Nataša is the best Slovenian ultrarunners of all time. She finished succesfully many Spartathlons, but in 2019 she finished in third place. In the same year she set a national record in 12h run in Kranj (136.910 km, at the race Slovenian 12 Hour Run). She participated at several World and European Championships in ultramarathon (100 km, 24h). In 2013 she finished Ultrabalaton in Hungary in the third place.

In 2022 she became national champion in 12h run at the race SLO12RUN (5.6.2022, Kranj), which was the first national championship in 12h run.

Uroš won the most of the race SLO12RUN. In 2022 he won at SLO12RUN and became national champion in 12 hour run. He participated several times at the ultramarathon World Championships.

Noora is the winner of 6 hour run, SLO12RUN 2022.

Ivan is the winner of the 12 hour run, SLO12RUN 2022.

Zdravko is ultra in all areas. Ultra runner, ultra musician, ultra friend! He ran over 100 marathons, most of the biggest ultramarathons, including the Spartathlon in 2010. The writer of our anthem. Zdravko, THANK YOU!
